    job description

      Niyogin is looking for an energetic, passionate and result oriented Senior Manager/ AVP- Marketing. This position directly reports to the Chief Business Development Officer.

       

      Desired Skills:

       

      1.  Analytical ability to understand and transform data into decisions and powerful stories

      2.  Well suited to the startup environment - flexible, adaptive, self-motivated and fast learner

      3. Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

      4. Entrepreneurial driven strategic thinking and ability to lead and drive critical business functions such as Brand, Marketing, Products, E -commerce is an essential requirement.

      5. Track and report on Performance KPIs across all acquisition channels to optimize ROI, including highlighting potential investment tradeoffs between all CPA-based activities (Paid Marketing, Partnerships/Co-marketing, Referrals, Promotions etc.

      6. Demonstrated capability of developing and implementing marketing programs that target specific channels to promote services or products.

      7. Experience in driving fast user growth for a direct-to-consumer or large scale B2B SME online product/service.

      8.  Understanding of the local digital and offline media landscape.

       

      Key Responsibilities:

       

      Channel Marketing (60%)

      1. Ideate, design and execute effective and impactful communication elements to consumers across different touch points– online & off-line.

      2. Partner with Field Sales team to support sales operations (e.g., creating, executing and measuring promotions, optimizing sales operations costs etc.)

      3. Measure and analyze existing projects for opportunities to improve the customer experience and reduce costs. Optimize allocation of marketing development funds and execution of included projects

      4. Measure and improve offline experience and improve productivity of our retail assets, through ongoing retail audits.

      5. Drive marketing programs and partner campaigns

      6. Work closely with online team to support them in their marketing initiatives, and ensure consistency in Consumer experience in online & offline channels

      7. Drive and pilot new marketing initiatives

      8. Drive Monitor and benchmark competition.

       

      Digital Marketing (40%):

      1. Plan and execute all Web, SEO/SEM, Marketing Database, Mobile & E-mail, Social media and Digital Display advertising campaigns- Build Digital Brand Equity.

      2. Ensure that all campaigns are planned, tracked and operate towards specific business and growth objectives. Measure and optimize on performance - ROI, retention, engagement etc.

      3. Plan and manage the budget to achieve optimum CAC per acquisition.

      4. To devise, implement and run innovative campaigns in line with budgets.

      5. Create and maintain metrics reports to showcase the health of the campaigns.

      6. Continuously implement new fraud detection and prevention mechanism to improve the user quality.

      7. Manage strong business relationships within the digital ecosystem. Understand and manage dynamics to drive best practices in this function.

      8. Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies, including updates on attribution, programmatic media buying, social media acquisitions.

      9. Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

      10. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide Digital Thought Leadership and perspectives.

       

      Preferred Experience:

       

      1. 8-10 years’ experience with 3-5 years of experience in channel marketing.

      2. Proven hands-on expertise in running & scaling digital & offline marketing channels.

      3. Presently working in a similar capacity with Internet / Banking / Insurance / FMCG / E-Commerce industries.

      4. Strong communication & presentation skills.

      5. Experience of starting or working in a startup is a plus.
